Thanks for all your help, everyone who had suggestions.
I ended up starting with yet another fresh, new file and followed the
directions here, and this seemed to get me on the right track. I believe
that I had somehow gotten the number of working hours out of sync in the two
different places.
However, in order to get it to recognize 7 hour days accurately, I had to
manually override the default settings for each working day planned for the
project. I think I had encountered this before, and had attempted to change
the actual defaults, which is how Project got confused.
Does anyone know how to set this up so that I don't have to manually set
each day, but it won't make a complete mess out of my schedule?
Thanks!
