hi,
i was wondering if anyone had an opinion with regard to using different
extensions for variations of a company's domain name.
what i mean is, if you have domain name of www.ex-why-zee.com, for
example, and you also wanted to use a shorter version of www.x-y-z.com,
which was unavailable, would you use www.x-y-z.net as well?
i'm trying to convince a friend that if he's going to be using an
abbreviated version of his company's domain name, he should probably
stick to using one extension and not have one be a .com and another be a
.net.
i'd like to know if people agree with me on this, if there are any
statistics with regard to this, or any other feed back.
thanks,
tom
