[webproducers] Re: cost to create a website?

absolutely right and that's when you remind everyone involved about the
choices available. clients want and deserve choices. sometimes it's as
simple as stating something along the lines of "in our professional opinion
based on the agreed upon goals and objectives we would suggest blue but we
understand your interest in green.  please understand that if you go with
green it might not fully reach our goals and we can discuss that more if you
would like. let us know which on you prefer to go with and we can
proceed..."

of course if the decision deviates from the goal it's never a bad idea to
get a little simple "approval" signed and faxed back.  this often works
wonders.

*Sometimes* these personal preferences can have positive end
results but more often than not, their impact can be disasterous
to the site's aesthetics or even the project schedule by
knocking the project off track.
