Darren,
Agree - this is done back in 1998, when dark colors were just fashionable.
Since then, the content has been grown, while the layout is the same.
Anyway, your comments were about the marketing component.
I was just talking about the technical aspect of a company web site - it
doesn?t cost more that $1500.
The picture would be incomplete and moreover it doesn?t make any sense
without the marketing aspect - branding idea, clear sales message, marketing
strategy, powerful content and so on. You're absolutely right; every company
should have all this stuff done in-house (at least to some extent) or with
any professional marketing agency/strategist. This is the only right
direction. But, again, it has nothing to do with the tech aspect and local
vs. offshore development team - each of them would just implement the
marketing strategy in a similar way, for completely different budgets though
:)
Thanks,
Andrey
