Act 200x and Goldmine are both pretty robust PC options: powerful and
customizable, but they're also pretty focused on "sales force automation" so
there's a lot of forecasting/scheduling function as well. Depending on what
you're planning to do, you may end up only using about half of their
capabilities.

I want to automate my client contacts so I can have a nice database of all
phone calls, correspondence, etc.  Does anyone know of any software I could
use for this? I'm not happy with the Journal on outlook and I want something
more customizable. Anyone know of a database template that already exists?

does anyone have any idea what i'm talking abut?
