Hi, I understand your concerns but I think PRINCE2 does have something else to offer - for example, it only suggests that you have a minimum of 2 'stages' these are the Initiation (Planning) stage and the 'doing' stage. Although PRINCE2 has, as you will see, more than one 'process' these are activities grouped into common steps or themes (who is responsible in most cases). One of the major selling points of PRINCE2 is that it is not ridged, but flexible, adapting it is actually encouraged! It is owned and developed by the UK government so it is not presented in an 'exciting' way. This makes it hard to get across the huge benefits for both small and large companies. Even if one just takes a few pointers from PRINCE2 it can really improve customer delivery (brashly assuming that it might need it!).
