not so amazing about Ford. they're a HUGE company with an army
of in-house and out-of-house lawyers.

financial institutions are also guilty of this.

most companies do not have in-house counsel, let along large
numbers of lawyers at their disposal so risking a cease and
desist is worth the risk to some.
