Its really hard to give advice without seeing site designs but I don't see
any problem with wordpress being used as a CMS. Wordpress rocks in the SEO
department, its GUI is super easy to navigate and it capable of creating its
own pages rather then posts.
Wordpress is also a bunch faster at rendering pages and lighter or the SQL
database than either Drupal or Joomla.
