Title: Production Intern

Location: New York City

Job Overview
The Wall Street Journal Online is looking for a part-time Web development
intern to learn what it takes to produce an online news site. The candidate
will work primarily on day-to-day operations such as HTML/page layout,
content management and site-maintenance tasks. As the intern's skills grow,
so will the complexity of projects assigned.

The candidate will work on a team with producers, designers, editors and
other developers under the direction of a tech manager.  

Qualifications

Solid HTML skills are required. Advance skills such Flash, JavaScript,
graphics editing and awareness of browser compatibility issues are a plus. 

An interest in Web publishing or online news is a must, as well as the
ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The intern
should be enthusiastic, a fast learner, and willing to take on
responsibility.
