Hi Everyone,
The following is the job description for an open position at my company in
Los Angeles. I will also post this on the website. Please forward the
documents requested to the email in the job description. Thanks!
Digital & Website Producer (Project Manager) - Entertainment & Youth
BrandsAbout
the Job
Trigger is a digital agency specializing in interactive entertainment and
youth brand marketing. We make immersive marketing-driven websites,
Flash/iPhone/3D games, original animations and social networking
applications.
WHY JOIN TRIGGER?
Some of the brands and clients in our arsenal include Sony Pictures,
Universal Pictures, Disney, Nike, Red Bull and more. Our recent work
includes official movie sites for ?Angels & Demons,? ?Drag Me to Hell,? and
Pixar?s ?Cars.? We?ve also launched recent Flash features for ?X-Men
Origins: Wolverine,? ?Star Wars: The Clone Wars,? ?Transformers: Revenge of
the Fallen,? and ?Star Trek.?
In 2009 we?re looking forward to being a part of major releases for Sony,
Universal and Disney -- with sites, games and iPhone apps in the works for
?2012,? ?G.I. Joe,? ?District 9,? ?Planet 51,? ?Fame,? and other projects we
can?t talk about yet.
We're looking for a hyper-organized, friendly and enthusiastic person to
join us. We promise that you'll experience some terrific brands, and you
will never, ever get bored. Because Trigger also has an office in Shanghai,
China, you?ll get valuable experience working with the some of the best
talent in the emerging dragon that is China. We?ve built a company that?s
here to last, and we want people who are looking for a place to belong to
and put down a few roots.
WHERE YOU FIT IN
As a Producer at Trigger, you?ll manage five to six projects concurrently
from start to finish. You?ll be a part of brainstorms, and help craft the
scope and pricing for each project. Once projects are kicked off, you alone
are in the driver?s seat, leading the team as the sole point of contact for
our clients.
That should either excite you or scare you.
Experience with web development methodology is required, as well as
dedication and love for the career and art of project management. In a
typical day, you?ll be talking to clients, updating calendars, pricing
projects, writing detailed tasks for your team, scribbling bits of creative
copy, and in general doing one of the hundreds of things good Producers do
to keep their projects moving forward on time and within parameters.
Our projects represent some of the best in the industry, and as such are
typically complex. You?ll need to have a good memory, a mind that can
quickly categorize, communicate and compartmentalize complex tasks, a hand
that takes amazing notes, and an eye for details.
There will also be some superheroes, dog hair, orange paint and a few scary
movies.
MORE ABOUT THE ROLES
We?re interviewing for a ?mid-level? role:
- Someone with at least 3 years direct experience in digital & website
project management.
- Candidate should have experience leading projects with budgets between
$40k and $300k.
- Candidate should be prepared to talk about specific website projects
