[webproducers] Looking for a great freelance Sr. Digital Producer for 3+ month gig in Boston, MA

Hi all,

One of my Boston-based clients needs a Sr. Digital Producer to help out on
their most visible & creative account (this account wins tons of national &
international awards for creative excellence!) . In particular, they are
seeking someone with strong experience with nonlinear full-screen
interactive video, including shoots as well as experience with online
advertising, microsites, rich media advertising, social networking sites,
widgets, etc. Strong: budget, scope, and vendor management experience is
also a must.  This is a contract position beginning 4/6 & going through the
end of June, at which time it may convert to a full time opportunity.
Candidates presented must be open to both. Project is located in Boston;
client will not pick up travel/hotel for out-of-state talent  --- but I can
recommend great, inexpensive lodgings nearby .  If you know anyone out there

Sr. Digital Producer

  

Duties and Responsibilities

*       Scopes all projects in terms of deliverables, schedule, and budget 

*       Works with creative teams from the earliest concept stage forward,
to ensure that the most innovative creative and production methods are
employed. 

*       Sources and evaluates quality vendors to ensure that creative and
production is supported with the most innovative and effective tools 

*       Responsible for bidding out and negotiating contracts with outside
vendors, with help of Business Affairs 

*       Develops and continually manages project timelines and budgets. 

*       Holds weekly project meetings and oversee the development of weekly
production-status reports. 

*       Ensures that proposed creative concepts can be produced within
client-specified timeframes and budgets. 

*       Manages all resources on a given project: creative, studio and
vendors. 

*       Participates in strategic development of new business. 

*       Oversees assigned accounts and multiple producers/teams from
beginning to end of each project's life cycle. 

*       Interfaces with clients on schedule and budget issues. 

*       Review all bids, estimates, and actuals with their direct reports. 

*       Assists in training of producers, associate producers and
assistants. 

*       Execute timely performance reviews and mentor those members in their
group for professional growth within the Agency 

 

Knowledge / Experience / Ability: 

*       MANDATORY: 


*       Must have 2+ years experience with nonlinear full-screen interactive
video, including shoots. 

*       Requires 2+ years experience working on projects w/online
advertising, microsites, rich media advertising, social networking sites,
widgets, etc. 

*       Strong: budget, scope, and vendor management experience

*       2+ years experience as a new media/interactive producer, or directly
related experience. 

*       Experience in advertising and/or direct-response marketing a plus 

*       Strong working knowledge of web tools, technologies and best
practices including database-driven design, usability, online advertising
models, campaign management, optimization and multimedia. 

*       Basic knowledge of Internet applications (Dreamweaver, HTML,
Photoshop, FTP) 

*       Technical knowledge of WWW and the quality assurance process 

*       Some project planning/scoping experience. 

*       Excellent project planning/scoping and mentoring skills. 

*       Proficiency with MS Office software including MS Project is a must. 

*       Experience working with audio, video and talent for web (or
broadcast). 

*       Strong leadership, communications, organization, and negotiation
skills 

*       Self -motivated and able to work independently with little
supervision 

*       Self-directed, goal-oriented, results-driven personality with a
commitment to continuous improvement. 

*       Recognized ability to manage tradeoffs effectively among schedule,
scope and budget on a single project, and to manage multiple projects and
priorities with attention to detail and reliable follow-through 

*       Makes good decisions based upon analysis, wisdom, experience, and
judgment; offers appropriate solutions and suggestions
