  Position Title: Web Project Manager / Business Analyst
  Department: Client Services
  Location: San Jose, CA
  Description:
  A leading Internet professional services firm is seeking a Web Project
Manager / Business Analyst to work onsite at a major account in San Jose.
  Working closely with the client and the agency account team, you will
manage multiple, high-profile web projects and initiatives simultaneously
including web site development, web application development, web design
initiatives, routine web maintenance, software evaluations, build vs. buy
assessments, and client service tasks. The ideal candidate will be able to
1) quickly gather and concisely document requirements for a variety of web
initiatives and 2) successfully manage multiple web initiatives.
  The Web Project Manager / Business Analyst must be able to understand both
client and business goals, as well as determine technological solutions that
meet the client's needs and are scaleable and maintainable for the future.
You must be able to effectively manage multiple demands and competing
priorities, identify and eliminate inefficiencies, as well as identifying
and communicating potential opportunities to the agency account team.
Responsibilities also include routine web maintenance and coordination
between team members and the client.
  The Web Project Manager / Business Analyst must be an effective team
leader and possess exemplary communication skills and a highly professional
demeanor. You will serve as a liaison between team members and clients.
Working with the client Project Manager you will manage expectations,
project scope, and timelines. You will be responsible for expediting tasks
effectively and efficiently with an emphasis on client satisfaction.
  Responsibilities:


    a.. Work with client stakeholders to draw out business and functional
requirements document requirements for projects with little direction.
    b.. Lead creative, technical, and maintenance web projects and deliver
high-quality output on time and on budget. Manage all aspects of projects
including analysis, scope, scheduling, documentation, execution, and
delivery.
    c.. Anticipate and identify project risks and respond appropriately.
    d.. Track and report frequently on project status.
    e.. Communicate project goals and deadlines to both team members and
clients.
    f.. Perform comprehensive and thorough quality assurance from
proofreading to application testing.
    g.. Provide regular updates on the status of projects and the client
relationship to the account manager and the director of client services.


  Required Skills and Experience:


    a.. Two to five years of experience managing web initiatives.
    b.. At least four years of project management experience.
    c.. At least two years of experience as a business analyst, gathering
and documenting business and functional requirements for web-related
projects.
    d.. Extensive knowledge of web design, web development, and web best
practices.
    e.. Professional demeanor and communication style.
    f.. Proven ability to manage multiple, fast-turn projects concurrently.
    g.. Must be extremely detail-oriented and well organized.
    h.. Must be comfortable working independently.
    i.. Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft
Office products.
    j.. Bachelor's degree in a related field.
