Manager, Industry Initiatives

The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) represents the leading companies in
the interactive space. Membership includes companies that are actively
engaged in, and support the sale of interactive advertising in addition to
being responsible for selling over 75% of online advertising in the United
States. IAB members include AOL, CNET Networks, DoubleClick, MSN, Google,
Overture, The Walt Disney Internet Group, Yahoo! and over 150 others. On
behalf of its members, the IAB evaluates and recommends standards and
practices, fields interactive effectiveness research and educates the
advertising industry regarding the use of interactive advertising.

Job Description:
This role will report to the Director, Industry Initiatives. This role will
primarily be responsible for day-to-day management of client relationships
through service, and overall management of development and implementation of
IAB industry-wide projects. This role will be measured upon client
satisfaction, project renewal and project implementation and delivery within
scope and budget.

Responsibilities:
Account management of clients to ensure participation and satisfaction in
IAB projects.
Overall management of initiative development for highly-visible web-based
applications
Management of internal and external creative and technical resources to meet
project milestones
Establish scalable project development processes and project plans
Manage execution of internal deliverables throughout the project life cycle
Facilitate information flow among project team members and external
stakeholders
Consult with management regarding project status, requirements and business
issues
Extensive use of Microsoft Office Suite (including, Word, PowerPoint, and
Excel) to produce presentation and meeting materials for project status
meetings
Extensive use of Microsoft Project and Visio

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree, Masters Degree Preferred
Minimum 3 years of industry experience, client and project management
Experience managing multiple projects across multiple teams.
Ability to manage work plans, track status and manage team for complex
initiatives
Strong communication and skills
Must be a self starter and team player!
Must be proficient at MS Project, Visio and Office Suite.

The IAB pursues initiatives that support and heighten the awareness of the
Interactive medium. It would be best for this person to embrace the need for
this endeavor as well.
