Project Manager
Time management  skills: Able  to deftly manage high volume of people, 
project and process issues. Is prompt  and demands this of others. A 
self-starter 
with ability to control time as way  of accomplishing daily goals. 
Team leadership  skills: Able  to lead a cross-disciplined, matrixed project 
team through the full creative  build lifecycle for multiple simultaneous 
initiatives.  Responsible for definition of project  plans and day to day 
execution of those project plans. Negotiates and documents  time, resources, 
deadlines. Defines next steps for each person on project teams.  Able to slot 
resources 
across several projects in progress simultaneously in  order to maximize 
productivity of team.   
Communication  skills: Able  to communicate and present, both written and 
orally, on complex issues relating  to process, projects and staffing, to full 
range of peers, subordinates and high  level execs both within and external to 
the studio.  Able to forge relationships across  internal and external 
departments, negotiate potentially conflicting  requirements, resources and 
priorities, gain consensus, and create and  communicate plans or solutions. 
Meeting facilitation  skills: Able  to command attention and respect in 
meetings for all topics related to position.  Creates and communicates agendas, 
captures and disseminates meeting notes, next  steps, assign tasks and creates 
deadlines for each task. 
Project Management  skills: Can  handle large, high priority projects with 
little supervision. Uses industry  standard tools as necessary. Creates 
accurate 
project plans and schedules.  Estimates time per resource for all projects.  
Compares estimates per resource against  actuals as a way of improving future 
performance of individuals and teams.  Knows when and how to revise estimates  
based on changing requirements.  Understands how to refine and communicate 
requirements, and adjust them  as needs change.  Able to work in an  
environment 
of regularly changing priorities and last minute quick turnaround  
assignments, while reacting in a productive, solutions-oriented  manner. 
Technology  skills:  Experience managing interactive web initiatives with 
solid understanding of UI  wireframing and graphic design processes.  
Conceptually understands complicated industry and proprietary  technologies 
such as FDO, 
HTML, Flash, which are used in the creation of  projects at AOL. Uses this 
knowledge to facilitate scheduling, estimating, and  operational management of 
those assigned to team. 
Product knowledge  skills:  Ability to understand business and project 
objectives, familiar with competitive  landscapes, and industry trends and 
tools to 
help guide project teams toward the  best creative member experiences.
