  Design and Website Management Position, Carnegie Council on Ethics and
  International Affairs

CLOSING DATE: Applications will be taken until a suitable candidate is
found.
SALARY: Commensurate with experience; three-months trial basis initially.
LOCATION: New York City

DUTIES: The Carnegie Council on Ethics and International Affairs seeks
an experienced professional to manage its online production needs. They
will be responsible for managing updates, sending out e-blasts creating
Web graphics, and adding new pages/areas for the Carnegie Council’s Web
site (www.carnegiecouncil.org) as needed, including feeding new 
materials into the resource library 
(www.carnegiecouncil.org/searchmedia.php). The ideal candidate
will also be able to assist with the production of print products (such
as brochures, annual report) as needed.

Specific duties include:

    * Post updates and new materials.
    * Design and produce original graphics for the site.
    * Design and produce new Web pages/areas as assigned.
    * Prepare and send out e-blasts and e-newsletter.
    * Coordinate and track work flows, schedules, and projects for the
      department.
    * Handle communications with rest of Council staff on Web issues.
    * Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

    * Proven track record in online design and website management.
    * At least two years of professional experience in Macintosh-based
      design and imaging.
    * Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator; Quark Express.
    * Proficient in HTML.
    * Strong organizational and project management skills, good command
      of written English.
    * Interest in international affairs preferred.
    * BFA in graphic design preferred.
