[webproducers] Re: Feedback requested

Hello Susan, my thoughts concerning the lack of direction is that this
site could have more of a task-oriented design. What can people do?

1. Schools can register and log in
2. Coin recipients can record information
3. Organizations can donate money
4. Reporters can find press releases
5. Newcomers can learn about the project
6. Anyone can contact you

I would have made those the main navigation choices. I would also put a
coin tracking form right on the home page. I agree you have too many
"buttons" on the home page. I counted 17 navgation links and forms on the
home page, but only six actions for people to take.

The left-hand sub navigation also has problems. It is not clear that the
links on the home page take you to the projects section. Then if you click on
"timeline", the links to the other projects pages disappear!

I second the previous comments about the light yellow and inconsistent
colors. Your designer has a much nicer monitor than the ones at the
school where I teach.
