I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know that as a non-profit organization we have come to a point where we no longer have the resources to continue our services as InSight Cinema.
We will leave up the home page and all links (non profit alliances, related arts, audiologists, etc.) that do not require daily updates. We will have Fandango, Movies Tickets.com and all of the theatre links where you can find open captioned films.
We have come a very long way in 15 years and I am proud of our accomplishments and deeply grateful to all of those who made it possible: everyone from studios, theatre chains, Technicolor, sponsors, donors, and all of our loyal patrons.
We will be monitoring emails, but will not be able to respond to all of them as we have done in the past.
There is still a lot of territory to be covered - Digital Cinema, live theatre, opera, houses of worship, and sporting venues. I will never cease to be an advocate for captioning through my work, and as a Board of Trustee member of HLA-CA, and a member of various film industry organizations committed to finding a workable solution for access for Deaf and Hard of Hearing people.
Open Captioned films will still be available in most of the cities we list, and you can get the show time information from the links on the webpage.
I will still be active as a captioned entertainment advocate, and will notify our loyal patrons via Newsletter of new innovations as they occur.
Again, my gratitude for all that you have done - and continue to do on behalf of DHH, ESL and remedial reading groups. You are the best!
I especially want to thank the countless people who over the years have contributed their time and effort to InSight Cinema. Without them, much of this would not have been possible.

IF YOU ARE CHANGING EMAIL ADDRESSES, PLEASE FOLLOW THESE TWO STEPS:

Then

TO SUBMIT ARTICLES for WADNet Posts, send an email with the information to 
wadneteditor@xxxxxxxxxxx by 7pm CST Sunday night.  WADNet Posts generally go 
out on Monday and/or Tuesday evenings each week.  Special Postings will be made 
when there is an urgent need and on a case-by-case basis.  Please contact the 
WADNet Post Editor if you have any questions.
TO RECEIVE WADNET POST IN DIGEST MODE: To start receiving WADNet Posts in digest mode, simply send an email to wadnetpost-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with "set digest" in the subject line. Leave the body of the email blank. You should get a confirmation saying "set digest" and "Flag successfully set". After that, you will start receiving WADNet Post in digest instead of separate emails for each post. 

TO STOP DIGEST AND GO BACK TO NORMAL EMAIL:
Send an email to wadnetpost-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with "unset digest" in the subject line.  Leave 
the body of the email blank.  You will get a confirmation showing "unset digest" and "Flag 
successfully set".  And you'll go back to receiving normal emails from WADNet Post.

TO GO ON VACATION:
To set your WADNet Post subscription status to "vacation mode", simply send an email to 
wadnetpost-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with "set vacation" in the subject line.  Leave the body of the email blank. 
 You should get a confirmation saying "set vacation" and "Flag successfully set".  The system will 
stop sending you email.

TO CHANGE BACK FROM VACATION MODE:
To set your WADNet Post subscription status back to normal, simply send an email to 
wadnetpost-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with "unset vacation" in the subject line.  Leave the 
body of the email blank.  You should get a confirmation saying something like "Flag 
successfully set".  The system will start sending you email again as normal.

TO UNSUBSCRIBE from the WADNet Post, send an email to
wadnetpost-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field.
