Job Opening: Video Relay Interpreter
JOB OPENINGS: VIDEO RELAY INTERPRETERS
Hamilton Relay, Inc. is hiring multiple part time and/or full time
positions for Video Relay Interpreters in the Baton Rouge, LA and
Middleton, WI area. Other locations may be added in the near future.
Position summary: Relay video calls between video relay users and
hearing individuals.
Preferred experience includes 3-5 years experience working as a sign
language interpreter. National or state certification equivalent to the
current NIC national certification is a plus.

Jul 27: WTRS 16th Annual Picnic - New Location
WTRS 16TH ANNUAL PICNIC IN A NEW AND BEAUTIFUL LOCATION!!!
The 16th Annual Wisconsin Telecommunications Relay Systems (WTRS) Picnic
is on Sunday July 27, 2008 from 11 AM to 4 PM. It will be held at McKEE
FARMS PARK SHELTER in FITCHBURG, WI. McKee Farms Park is located at 2930
Chapel Valley Road, Fitchburg, WI, 53711.
For our 16th Annual Picnic, we want to continue to show our great
appreciation to our customers for using Wisconsin Relay Service. WTRS is
provided by Hamilton Relay and Society’s Assets, Inc.
For the second year in a row, we will have a Pig Roast, bratwursts,
burgers and hot dogs, provided by Stoddard’s Catering. Food and
beverages are FREE!! McKee Farms Park has the "Kids Crossing" playground
which is a dream playground built in a castle-like structure with tube
slides, bridges, ladders and anything that is too creative for adults to
play in! We will have entertainment, games and door prizes for kids and
adults. Please mark your calendar and bring yourself, family and friends
to the 16th Annual WTRS Picnic on July 27, 2008. We will be eagerly
looking forward to seeing you all there.

TO RECEIVE WADNET POST IN DIGEST MODE:
To start receiving WADNet Posts in digest mode, simply send an email to wadnetpost-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with "set digest" in the subject line. Leave the body of the email blank. You should get a confirmation saying "set digest" and "Flag successfully set". After that, you will start receiving WADNet Post in digest instead of separate emails for each post.
TO STOP DIGEST AND GO BACK TO NORMAL EMAIL:
Send an email to wadnetpost-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with "unset digest" in the subject line. Leave
the body of the email blank. You will get a confirmation showing "unset digest" and "Flag
successfully set". And you'll go back to receiving normal emails from WADNet Post.
TO GO ON VACATION:
To set your WADNet Post subscription status to "vacation mode", simply send an email to
wadnetpost-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with "set vacation" in the subject line. Leave the body of the email blank.
You should get a confirmation saying "set vacation" and "Flag successfully set". The system will
stop sending you email.
TO CHANGE BACK FROM VACATION MODE:
To set your WADNet Post subscription status back to normal, simply send an email to
wadnetpost-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with "unset vacation" in the subject line. Leave the
body of the email blank. You should get a confirmation saying something like "Flag
successfully set". The system will start sending you email again as normal.
TO UNSUBSCRIBE from the WADNet Post, send an email to
wadnetpost-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field.
