U.S. Senator Russ Feingold will hold a listening session in Brown County on Saturday, May 3, 2008. Senator Feingold has pledged to hold listening sessions in all of Wisconsin’s 72 counties each year of his six-year term. If constituents need special accommodations at the listening session they should contact Senator Feingold’s Middleton office at 608-828-1200.
His Brown County listening session will be held at 9:15 a.m. in the Second Floor Common Council Chambers at the De Pere City Hall, 335 South Broadway, De Pere. The meeting will last up to an hour.
This meeting allows you the opportunity to express your views to the Senator on federal issues such as IDEA, Community Choice Act, Rehabilitation Act, housing, health care, voting and campaign finance, and ethics reform.

Economic Stimulus Plan
Congress recently passed a plan to stimulate the sluggish U.S. economy. The plan will send federal tax rebate payments to people who file a tax return this year and who report at least $3000 in income. Social Security benefits count as income, but Supplemental Security Income (SSI) does not under this plan. You have until the end of the year to file your taxes unless you owe something, then its April 15th. If you don’t file federal taxes normally but still want a rebate, you should write "Economic Stimulus" across the top of your tax form and mail to: 

Internal Revenue Service
Fresno, CA 93888-0002
Rebates will start to be sent out in early May. The amount of the rebate will depend on your situation. More information about this plan is available from Internal Revenue Service at http://www.irs.gov/irs/article/0,,id=177937,00.html

Leave the body of the email blank. You should get a confirmation saying "set digest" and "Flag successfully set". After that, you will start receiving WADNet Post in digest instead of separate emails for each post. 

TO STOP DIGEST AND GO BACK TO NORMAL EMAIL:
Send an email to wadnetpost-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with "unset digest" in the subject line.  Leave 
the body of the email blank.  You will get a confirmation showing "unset digest" and "Flag 
successfully set".  And you'll go back to receiving normal emails from WADNet Post.

TO GO ON VACATION:
To set your WADNet Post subscription status to "vacation mode", simply send an email to 
wadnetpost-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with "set vacation" in the subject line.  Leave the body of the email blank. 
 You should get a confirmation saying "set vacation" and "Flag successfully set".  The system will 
stop sending you email.

TO CHANGE BACK FROM VACATION MODE:
To set your WADNet Post subscription status back to normal, simply send an email to 
wadnetpost-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with "unset vacation" in the subject line.  Leave the 
body of the email blank.  You should get a confirmation saying something like "Flag 
successfully set".  The system will start sending you email again as normal.

TO UNSUBSCRIBE from the WADNet Post, send an email to
wadnetpost-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field.
