of Hearing,
Hand-N-Hand of Northeastern Wisconsin, Inc. is pleased to send out the
following announcements!!!!
Hand-N-Hand playgroup schedule: March 31 to June 2008
PLAYGROUP HAS MOVED TO MONDAY NIGHTS!!!
Hand-N-Hand offers a weekly playgroup for children who are deaf and hard
of hearing ages birth to five and their families as well as parent and
community education classes.
March 31st
April 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th
May 5th, 12th, 19th ~No Session 5/26/08~
June 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th
Session II begins July 14, 2008
Hand-N-Hand Beginning Sign language Class: May 5 – June 30, 2008
CLASSES HAVE MOVED TO MONDAY NIGHTS!!!
Throughout this 8-week sign language class, Marie Stapleford, hearing
impaired since birth, will use her experience in teaching sign language
classes at Hand-N-Hand and the Utah State School for the Deaf and the
Blind to teach individuals beginning sign language.
Parent and Community Education Classes: Spring 2008
CLASSES HAVE MOVED TO MONDAY NIGHTS!!!
Hand-N-Hand has scheduled three presentations which have been designed
to provide in-depth information regarding resources and hearing loss.
These events are open to all families who have children with hearing
loss as well as those professionals who work with families and children
experiencing hearing loss. A sign language interpreter will be
available upon request.
April 21: Deaf Mentor Project (DMP) & Guide By Your Side Program (GBYS)
April 28: Office for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (ODHH)
May 19: “A Is For Access”
Playgroups and parent and community education classes are offered on
Monday nights from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm at St. John School located at 411
St. John Street in Green Bay.
If you are interested in attending any of the classes or if you would
like to request an interpreter for any of the classes please contact

You should get a confirmation saying "set digest" and "Flag successfully set". After that, you will start receiving WADNet Post in digest instead of separate emails for each post.
TO STOP DIGEST AND GO BACK TO NORMAL EMAIL:
Send an email to wadnetpost-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with "unset digest" in the subject line. Leave
the body of the email blank. You will get a confirmation showing "unset digest" and "Flag
successfully set". And you'll go back to receiving normal emails from WADNet Post.
TO GO ON VACATION:
To set your WADNet Post subscription status to "vacation mode", simply send an email to
wadnetpost-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with "set vacation" in the subject line. Leave the body of the email blank.
You should get a confirmation saying "set vacation" and "Flag successfully set". The system will
stop sending you email.
TO CHANGE BACK FROM VACATION MODE:
To set your WADNet Post subscription status back to normal, simply send an email to
wadnetpost-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with "unset vacation" in the subject line. Leave the
body of the email blank. You should get a confirmation saying something like "Flag
successfully set". The system will start sending you email again as normal.
TO UNSUBSCRIBE from the WADNet Post, send an email to
wadnetpost-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field.
