I have an Epson Stylus R1900 that I am very happy with. Had another early
version of the Epson that was not as good. Like Don's experience, the ink kept
drying up. However, I haven't had one problem with the printer I have now --
must be a new technology.

I have heard the Canon printers are very good. Don't know which ones.

I'm pretty sure both Canon and Epson are the primary choices for photographers.
Then there are the commercial labs . . .might be cheaper.

I'm also in the market for a new printer...would like one of those
multi-purpose ones...if I can find one that prints decent photos. I'm leaning
towards Canon...since I've had such good luck with my present one.
