  The field trip to the Painted Churches in the Schulenburg area is scheduled 
for Saturday, October 29.  We will have a guide to show us the features of each 
of the churches and will travel between the churches as a group. The cost of 
the trip will be $10 per person plus a gratuity for the guide (Guides are 
volunteers; they are not paid by the Chamber of Commerce.  Suggested gratuity 
is $3 to $5 per person from a group of our size ). 
  The tour will start at the Schulenburg Chamber of Commerce Building, 618 N. 
Main Street in Schulenburg. We need to be there by 10:00 am. We can travel as a 
group from Victoria, or you can meet us in Schulenburg. We will need to leave 
Victoria by about 8:00 am.   IF YOU WANT TO TRAVEL TO SCHULENBURG AS PART OF A 
GROUP, WE WILL LEAVE FROM THE NORTH END OF SAM'S CLUB PARKING LOT ON  NAVARRO 
AT 8:00 SHARP.   If you are not there at 8:00 we will meet you in Schulenburg.  
The tour should take about 4 hours. We will break in the middle for a Dutch 
treat lunch at Frank’s Restaurant at Hwy 77 and I-10 in Schulenburg. 
  Flash and tripods will be allowed in the churches. 
  So far the following people have signed up for the trip.  If I have missed
