Sounds good. Looking forward to some "new" stories. jim ----- Original Message ----- From: Roger Zimmerman To: vpci@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Thursday, November 03, 2011 6:20 PM Subject: [vpci] Re: Llano Outing--Burn bans & water levels That also means we can have a camp fire. Bring firewood if you have some. Why don't we have a group camp fire? Yea! We can cook with charcoal as long as someone is closely watching the fire at all times, and it is completely extinguished when we're through. There is still a lot of dead cedar around, and we must be very careful. Also the river level is fine for kayaking. Although the North Llano River is dry, the South Llano is flowing well. You can put in at the park and take out in town. Or put in below the park and take out in the park. She said we might want to call again right before we come up, just to be sure about the fires, as things can change quickly. Fain
