Brent, thanks for the help.
Now that we have a idea for a place, we can make plans for a date. Don Jeane
and Tim Sadler are the instructors for these two classes. I'll need to see
when they are available.

What dates are of interest?
They have many tables.
The class will need to provide extension cords for users to plug in laptops
and other electronics.

Brent,
As usual Mark has covered my emails for me. He does such a good job!!!!!
The only other question I have does the facility have tables? The instructor
wants the participants to use their computers as part of the training.

Brent...I haven't talked to Jim...but I would think 8 is way too small.
The classroom for 75 should more than enough...depends how much we advertise
and open it up to the public or other clubs. I was out of state when Cliff gave
his program on Lightroom...but I think he had a pretty good turn out. Where is
the classroom?

I asked the question earlier as to how big a room was needed for local
training?
My office can seat 8, and I might be able to access the adjoining
county classroom which seats 75 or so.

Which one do you think is better (More in depth, easy to understand &
follow)? Kelby or Lynda?

The Scott Kelby training at www.kelbytraining.com is $24.99 per month
or $199 for a full year = 16.58 per month
I just signed up for a year. Last night went through a lot of the
Lightroom training Last night its very complete.

Tippi
I will periodically sign up with either LyndA.com or Scott Kelby
training. Both are 25.00 month and you and you cancel any time. I started
the movie on LR 4 last night and will watch more today. I am sure it won't be
long before I upgrade. I will let you know if I go for it!

Thanks Cliff. I will watch the video today when I get home from
work. I am currently subscribing to Lynda.com to learn Lightroom 3 but maybe I
just need to take the $79.00 plunge and learn 4. The word Beta always scares
me.
Thanks for your help

There is so much new in Lightroom 4, and your photos will look
better before you start to make adjustments.
It's totally worth the $79.00.
Below is a free preview of the Lightroom 4 beta. It will show you
how to use much of the new and improved features in Lightroom 4.
No need to download the beta version just watch the Preview.
Test-drive Photoshop Lightroom 4 beta
The latest version of Adobe Photoshop photo-editing software,
Lightroom, is available for free public beta testing. You can download it, try
it out, and provide feedback that may influence the final version. Get up to
speed on the new features with veteran lynda.com author and photographer Chris
Orwig’s two-hour course, Photoshop Lightroom 4 Beta Preview. We’ve made the
entire course available to both members and nonmembers, so tell your friends

What is new in Lightroom 4. I have barely gotten 3 and still have
so much to learn. I wonder if it is worth 79.00 for a newcomer

Upgrade is only $79.00.
It is so totally worth the price! I ordered my Upgrade copy this
morning.
