Thanks, Cliff.  I would enjoy that.  I have the same EF 70-200 lens.  It is
a great piece of glass.  Let me know how your shooting with the extender

(Teleconvertor in Nikon language).
I'll bring them to our photo club April outing so you can try them out.
I've tried them with my EF 100-400 f/ 4.5-5.6L is usm lens and the image was a 
little soft but I think they will be better suited to my
EF 70-200 f/2.8L is  lens, So I've decided not to sell them.

I have a 1.4 and 2x (Teleconverter) that you can borrow,
they are both for sale for $50.00 each.
These are the older ones there now two newer models out.

teleconverter/extension that I could borrow for my 70-200 Canon that goes on my 40D? I've been 
wanting to try one out.  I have read that the 1.4 is optimum because focus is better.  MGM
