[vpci] Re: Digital Competition March 15

Welcome Brent. I have several family members that work at TPWD and a brother
in law that retired from there. Look forward to meeting you and seeing your
pictures.

Brent,

I didn't know you were with the TPWD. GREAT! When you feel like giving a
program to the Club -- one of your PowerPoints -- let me know. We would be
interested in seeing what you do, plus you can give us some pointers on what to
look for, when to look for it, etc. We've got some great wildlife
photographers -- especially birds -- in the club. I am truly excited to have
you in the Club.

I'm sure your pictures are good -- maybe they would have been great if you
would have used a Nikon -- a real camera........ :-)

Did you sign up for the class at Coleto? There may be a slot left. A few days
ago, Wilfred said there were only 2 spots left.

Tippi...Canon Rebel XTi

I am a wildlife biologist with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. I
mainly need photography to document work and unusual species. I give at least
a dozen public programs a year and I need quality sufficient for power point.

Most of my wildlife photography is out of a vehicle with a 100-400 mm zoom. I
also have a macro lens, but I have not done any macro photography in recent
years.

I will try to submit 4 entertaining photographs for the group.

Hi Cliff

This will be my 2nd meeting that I plan to attend.

What does assignment Wind mean?

How old can the photographs be? I have been using digital photographs for many
years, but only recently with a modest camera.

I am experienced at taking photographs mostly for documenting habitats and
criters. So, I am not sure what category I fit, but it would be the first I
submit if my schedule stays clear.

How many photos can I submit?

Any advise appreciated.
