Hi all, I'd like to revisit the subject of VRT Assistants. Could those who have experience using them comment on the pros and cons? I'm particularly thinking of VRT assistants who have gone through a formal VRT Assistant program, such as the one the Lighthouse is now doing, or others, like the ones I know have been going on for some time in New York and other places. What does it really take on the part of the CVRT to have a successful but appropriate program? If the bosses of the agencies involved are committed to them truly being VRT Assistants and not just taking over the CVRT's job, what kind of time and supervision do you find they really need? Thoughts on these questions or any other thoughts from those of you who have actually trained, and employed VRT Assistants would be helpful.
