Why not contact the company that makes the cards and inquire as to their
intent in using the cell with the dots 1, 3, 4, and 6? I have received
responses from many companies when I inquired about their products.

These are brand new commercially produced cards to clarify that point. The
first Braille symbol is the color, the second is the number and then there
is this cell with dots 1,3, 4, and 6 on all the cards with numbers. I
looked up this symbol in a Braille resource at work and it does stand for
"it" besides "x" so now I'm truly baffled. I don't recall learning an
orientation symbol. Thanks for the information on the draw cards that makes
sense now. Yeah learned something and some day this 3rd symbol will make
sense I'm sure.

Thanks all,

Diane

I would need to find mine, but I remember when opening I was a bit baffled
by how they were marked. I guess I was to used to my hand done with slate
and stylus version.

Hmmm, again I may not be the best source for commercially produced UNO
cards, but I thought the color was represented by the last letter. For
example 4 yellow would be "dy", draw 2 green would be "dbg" (draw 2 green)
and red skip would be "sr". It wouldn't make sense for the first letter of
a wild draw four card to represent color as that card doesn't have a color;
the person using it chooses a color. Again, I'm thinking the wild draw four
card contains the braille letters "wdd".

dots 1,3,4,6 I believe to be an orientation marks.

draw 4 - the first symbol is the color of the card, the next is a d,4

Does anyone know what the 3rd symbol is on the Braille Uno cards? The
directions do not explain. I've also quickly looked through my resources at
home to find it but most of my Braille resources are at work. The last
Braille symbol I'm most wondering about is dots 1, 3, 4, and 6, which is
also the letter "X". Any ideas? I have a feeling I'm going to feel stupid
once someone points this one out. It is only on the number cards not the
symbol cards like skip. Are there directions that are perhaps missing? Also
wondering exactly how to read the Braille on the card that says draw 4
cards? Much appreciated if you can share your expertise out there???
