Very strange, considering that the 2.5 instructions worked for me as of
a couple weeks ago. Can you try any other OpenGL software and see if
that works? I'm wondering if there's something wrong with your display
drivers. What video card do you have? Can you go the the manufacturer's
website and download new drivers?

python-2.4.4.msi
Numeric-24.2.win32-py2.4.exe
numarray-1.3.3.win32-py2.4.exe
PIL-1.1.6.win32-py2.4.exe
PyOpenGL-2.0.2.01.py2.4-numpy23.exe
pygame-1.7.1release.win32-py2.4.exe
visionegg-1.0.win32-py2.4.exe
...anyways,
I just tried the download/install instructions for 2.5, (after
uninstalling 2.4 and associated programs), and it still looks like
I'm getting the same error.

Finally, if it's an option, I have recently installed using the Python
2.5/win32 instructions and verified that they work for me. That route
might work better for you if you don't have too much software that
couldn't stand a little upgrade...
