Hi all,
= Main point =
This is just a heads-up that I am currently converting the "trunk" in
the subversion archive to use numpy internally and there are a several
bugs at the moment, at least visible on my development system. I will
send another email when I've worked the bugs out.
= What changes are coming? =
The old Numeric library will be strictly optional by the end of this.
I've also added setuptools as a requirement, and dropped all attempts at
retaining Python 2.2 or older. At the moment, there are currently bugs I
am trying to work out (evident by running the demos).
= What if I need the old version? =
In case you need the last svn retaining Numeric at the core was checking
into a "branch/Numeric-maint". Alternatively, revision 1390 of the trunk
should be fine.
= Other news =
I fixed a bug with the wiki hosting our website that prevented most page
modifications. So, if you've been stymied by the aggravating error
messages like I have, be stymied no more!
