Hi Mason,
I have just installed from scratch: Windows XP, Python 2.5.2, the VE 1.1
release candidate, and QuickTime 7.4.5.67. The quicktime.py demo works
perfectly, but there a couple of texture mask glitches in multi_stim.py (e.g.
"Exception while trying to create circle_mask: <type 'exceptions.NameError'>:
global name 'functionTypeFor' is not defined"). Once I fix that and test the
rest of the demos, I'll go ahead and release 1.1.
I listed all the packages I used here:
http://www.visionegg.org/Download%20and%20Install/Install%20on%20Windows/1.1
So, it seems to me that somehow your QuickTime installation isn't installing
the files in the location or name expected by my code...
