[visionegg] VisionEgg rollout

Hi, Andrew and all, 

We are about to do a disk image rollout which includes VisionEgg (yup... 
VisionEgg's going bigtime!) in one of our bigger computer labs... about 100 
machines or so.

I noticed that there's a version out for Python 2.4.  I haven't played around 
with it yet, but I would like to know if it's recommended to stay with the 
"stable" build for Python 2.3, or is the 2.4 version sufficiently robust for a 
rollout?  Furthermore, as it's unlikely we'll be doing another rollout anytime 
soon, is Python 2.4 sufficiently upgraded to warrant a shift in attention to it 
(versus 2.3)?
