OK, I see what you're trying to do.  I'm not sure if that'll work
exactly as you describe, but it seems plausible.  Another approach might
be to break your display into many Viewports, each pointing in a
slightly different direction.  I think this may also work, and may be
more controllable to deal with the optical distortion of your projector
setup.
