Yes Kristijan, I think that's the reason. Are you still on the seven-
or thirty-day trial? As I remember, you don't get the opportunity to
download more sounds and effects until you have registered (which
means purchased) the program. But if your school already did that for
you, then it should work correctly. Now, there's one other thing you
should know about the Help menu, there are two choices there, one
called "Download instruments and sounds," and the other is called
"Download more instruments" or "Download more sounds," the operative
word here is "more". That one will take you to the Magix Website where
you can purchase more instruments and effects, so that's not the
choice you want to make from the Help menu. "Download instruments and
sounds" will start the Samplitude download manager and show you a
window containing a big list of things, including eight sample packs,
and many other instruments and effects. The access to this window is a
little on the tricky side. As you arrow through the list of things to
download, focus changes to the "Continue" button, so you have to
Shift-TAB to the list in order to check or uncheck the item(s) you
want (or don't want), and every time you change the state of a
checkbox, you get refocused to "Continue" and must once again
Shift-TAB to find the next one in the list. If you have any useful
vision and use the mouse pointer, you can check all the items in the
list that way without worrying about JAWS changing focus.

I've activated it with serial number and email, and I thought that it

download...are you not seeing this list? There's no shortcuts that I'm
aware of. Steve.

Hello.
My school recently got samplitude pro x suite for me.
I'm using build 60, which is I think the latest.
If I go to help menu, and select download instruments and sounds,
samplitude's window is there, but it gets unresponsive with shortcuts.
Download manager doesn't work.
Is there any other way to open the manager?
