[vipaudioaccess] Re: Problem with the JAWS H help messages for plugin windows

Kevin it's not that it isn't complete, it's because the script associated has probably changed. Samplitude Access was never a "1" release solution, it was always going to evolve...and the complexities involved mean 1 little change in a function/script can have a knock on effect in other places. What you're seeing is some code that mirrors the script key, so if it changes, it doesn't know what the key is, so displays nothing.

I endeavour to do my best. Steve.

I mean how can know what command initiates a function when the help msg is incomplete?

Open them? Don't you mean execute the functions? Are we possibly

So what is one to do to open those windows?

Kevin,

I ran into this last July. It has to do with the way the help screen
is generated. If you look, either visually, or with the JAWS cursor,
at that line, you'll see something like this:

To do blah blah blah, press Shift-,

That's shift comma.

Or sometimes it looks like this:

To do blah blah blah, press .

Press period.

Unfortunately, I don't think it's possible to display this stuff in
any other way.

Phil,
Noticed that, when listening to the plugin window help messages available through JAWS H twice, the first three keystrokes for entering Plugin, Program and Bypass say something like, “two enter blah blah, press . As if there were an answer missing. I went through this letter by letter to find this out. You may wish to take a look.
