Hi Vincent,

Are you sure that IE8 is set to be the default browser, go into internet
options thn programs and make sure that the checkbox to have Internet
Explorer is the default browser is checked.

ok uninstalled avast and installed Microsoft security essentials. and still
the same i then uninstalled super anti spyware just to see if that done any
thing and nothing still the same.
what's happening is i go to say www.yahoo.ie and it starts loading up slowly
say 1% 7%, 20 Vincent
