Hi Susan,
I used to have a reader called a "Traveller". Sometimes, the screen would
appear to have lines randomly scratched across it. I found out after ages,
that if the camera lens was dirty or had finger marks it would cause these
lines. I just got asmall cloth for cleaning glasses & used to rub where
the camera was and the screen itself. Maybe this might help.
