Hi Stuart Again,

Yes I appreciat all that subsidy you mention and trust that MSP's will do what
you say!

Well done for all your endeavours in that regard.
Bear in mind that such are commercial operations and we are a minority!

Fair enough say the EU has a ruling about an exttra charge for all folk
travelling airwise and noone would mind that I'm sure!

Of course I think for phones too and the like for Vips.

Yes drop your subsidy but how long will it be before mobile phone companies
will take up the slack?

Yes we hope for the great awakening from them but for how long more?

Vodafone and others are certainly making the effort indeed!

Won't be looking for free or subsidy myself but as I wrote earlier if it is
there then surely!

I think that we all are living in the real world aren't we?

Regards,

Tony Sweeney

  Hi Tony,

If you are referring indirectly to the fact that you believe NCBI should
continue to subsidise the Talks software then you might keep in mind
that we did this for nearly three years.

The reason we decided to stop was because we wanted to encourage
companies like Vodafone to do exactly what you say, that is, to provide
the technology as standard, so that everyone can have equal access.

Continuing to subsidise the price of the product would simply not have
  worked for us.

I trust this answers what I've assumed was your indirect question below!

  Regards,

  Stuart.
