Hi Joe,
Below is a basic outline when installing Spam Fighter for the first time,
but I am wondering if this is the same for you as I see you are using the
free version at the moment. Did you get a complete new download of the
program to install and so perhaps you may need to remove the one you are
using at the moment - or is it that you can convert your free version to a
Pro version. Perhaps it would be best if you could send on the instructions
you received and maybe somebody could have a look at them.
Anyway here is a quick outline of how Spam Fighter was installed
originally:
After you download the program and go through the usual setup process you
will find that spamfighter has to perform certain tasks. This involves
checking your computers firewall, asking you for a valid email address and
password of your own choosing. Then it will as it goes through each of the
mentioned tasks expect you to click on the next button. This button is at
the bottom of the screen and you have to left click using the jaws cursor as
it is not accessible via keyboard. Use your jaws cursor during these tasks
to understand what you need to do next. For example:
Route JAWS to PC - Insert and minus on the num pad with the num lock off
Do a page up with number 9 on num pad
Then do a home with number 7 on num pad
Down arrow with the number 2 on num pad until you hear the word Next
Using Control and 4 or Control and 6 go over and back until you land on the
word Next
Then you can left click with the slash on the num pad
This will then move you on to the next screen where you can put back on the
PC cursor with the plus key on the num pad
You can use this method to get through each screen until all is complete.
Perhaps there is someone else out there who has more ideas on this!
Best regards,
sLoretta.

well now friends, am i in a pickle, some months ago paul helped me to
install spamfighter pro on trial, i had it for a month, then gave it up for
the free version, now, a good friend of mine has subscribed me to the pro
version for the coming year, i got an e mail from spamfighter, telling me
how to install the pro version, but they might as well be talking to dillon,
my guide dog, i haven't a clue, i want to install the pro version now,
and any help that anyone on this list can give me will be most gratefully
received, as i say, paul instructed me through the steps for installing it
before, but as he is away indulging in the nuptials i can't for the life of
me remember how i did it, S.O.J. [save our joe] travel safely, joe and
dillon.
