Hi Edel,
Like a lot of scanners, the reader could have a locking switche somewhere on
it such as underneath. You would need to unlock it if this were the case
otherwise it won't show up on your PC.
Paul.

Subject: [vip_students] sony reader queery
Hi All
I got a sony reader for the purpose of enlarging the print of books. I have
installed the software on to my PC and I am now trying to copy the books
from the CD that came with the reader on to the reader via the PC but the
reader is not appearing in the ebook library as it says it should.
I have removed and reinstalled the software and still had no success. Does
anyone know what might be my problem I have followed the instructions
precisely. Even went to the sony website recommended and got no joy with
that. When I attach the reader using the USB cable, it locks. I'm
wondering should this happen or is it a clue to what might be wrong.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Edel..
