Thanks for that information I changed my settings successfully. Not sure what has happened to my outlook though. I'm not too bothered now that I've fixed the settings as I find that visually outlook express is superior to outlookEdel..----- Original Message -----From: "Flor Lynch" <florlync@xxxxxx>To: <vip_students@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, November 13, 2009 10:48 PM Subject: [vip_students] Re: problem opening outloookEdel,If email addresses from the Web are 'assigned to outlook,' you can change that by going into:-- Control Panel, or internet Explorer Tools, - internet Options; -- Now shift+tab and then right-arrow to the programs Tab;-- Then press the tab key a few times until you come to the email combo box, and then arrow to highlight Outlook Express.-- Tab to and press enter on OK.there may (or may not) be something wrong in your microsoft outlook. but make sure that it is closed so that the change as above will take effect.----- Original Message ----- From: "Edel Carey" <careyedel@xxxxxxxxxx>To: <vip_students@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, November 13, 2009 3:28 PM Subject: [vip_students] problem opening outloook Hi again everyoneI use outlook express as my preferred email programme but I'm trying to access email addresses on a web page and I assume they are assigned to outlook but mine won't open.
