Hi again, over all I would have to say, I have been much happier with the
older Nokia phones such as the E51  or N serious
I find that the newer phones are not as reliable, and I have switched to the new I phone 3GS, and I am aware that it takes time to come to grips with it, 
and that it is not for everyone.
The concept of buying a product off the shelf with all the accessibility
features built in really grabs my attention, without having to pay extra for 
software,, but as I say you really need to give the I phone a try for
yourself.
If you are up in the north or in any apple stores abroad give these phones a 
try, as far as I know you can try them out in the store.
It also might be good to have a sighted person with ou at first so you can
get familiar to the orientation and navigation of the phone.

I think in addition Bert people feel that they have a preference for an
unlocked unbranded N86 or indeed any phone.

I was talking to someone last week and they were very disappointed
with the E52, the person actually brought the phone back to the phone

shop.

allot of those nokia's (e) have a problem with the audio chip.
I am on a email list pacifically dealing with mobile phones using
talks, and the most popular phone seems to be N86.
even with the N86 there are problems with the calendar and emailing.
there will be a new version of talks coming soon and hopefully these
issues will be iron out.
