Hi Susan,
I suggest you possibly repeat the procedure, and then tab around. I think you'll find a checkbox in SuperANTISpyware options which (when you press spacebar, to check it) tells SA to not allow your home page to be changed.

hi paul,
i tried to do a scan with super anti spyware and it immediatly told me that there had been a change to my home page, jaws announced the origanal home page which was google and then jaws then said the name of the page that it had changed to itself. hope this makes sense. what do i do next?

Hi Susan,

You can do the following to bring back your google home page.

1. Go to the desktop.
2. Press the letter "I" for internet explorer.
3. Now press keys, "left alt + Enter" and the Internet explorer properties 
will open up.
4. Straight away in the first box you can type in your desired home page, in 
this case the following, http://www.google.com
5. Tab over to the OK button and press spacebar. This should restore your 
google home page. However I would be suspicious as to why it suddenly
disappeared and would maybe run some sort of spyware program such as super anti spyware followed by an Avast scan. Just to be sure that you don't have 
any nasties hiding outon your PC.

hi folks,
for years i have had google as my home page but for some reason it seems to have changed with out me doing any thing to it, i can still do a search but it doesn't come up with the headings any more, to be perfectly honest i 
don't know what's going on here.

does any one else have this problem?
