Hi Jackie,

You should go onto the Gmail web site and log in using your Gmail details.
When in there go to the "Basic HTML" link and in here look for settings.
When in the settings, uncheck the checkbox or radio button that tells Gmail
to keep a copy of your emails on the server. When you do this, go to the
"Save button" and press spacebar to complete. Now on your computer download
all old emails from the gmail web site and this should stop the problem in
future. What will happen now is that you can first view your gmail mails on
your iphone and then download those same emails completely when you are on
your computer. The IPhone only looks at the mails up on the server and
doesn't download directly onto the IPhone.

Paul.
