Hi Mary

I have just had the same problem here and luckily my trainer is with me and we will try and tell you how to solve your problem.

Go into tools, then arrow down to accounts then enter, then alt P for properties, shift tab which takes you back into general then arrow right once, should reads servers, then alt V reads outgoing mail, my server requires authentication. Now alt A to apply then enter twice which gets you back into the in box. Otherwise there is a website www.btyahoo.com/smtp this gives you information and also does the same job as we have explained above.

Apparently this is to protect you from spam mail.

Hope this helps,

Bill(dorothy's trainer'.
