Try this
Select the offending email in its unopened format in your inbox then go to
the message tab on your menu bar and scroll down to block sender hit enter
and it will ask you do you want to remove all messages from this sender.
Select ok. This should block the message.

hi folks,
about an hour ago I went in to outlook express to download my emails when
avast gave it's virus warning alarm tone I also received an email from
avast to tell me just what email had sent it. however over the last hour I
have received that email withthe the virus in it about 40 times, sometimes
it comes in to the in box in two's or some times in ten's.
how can I stop getting this email all these times?
