Hi Susan,
I would be suspicious about this kind of behavour from windows update. I mean
that normally windows update doesn't act like this and I would need you to give
me more information. In the meantime, use your anti spyware software, "ad-aware
or spybot and also run a full virus scan.

sorry folks, but here is another problem, from i turned on my computer this
evening at 7 o clock i keep getting this prompt saying automatic updates then
it starts counting 5% 6% 7% ect.
if this is windows updates my son in law had this automatically dong this, in
other words this has never said this before. maybe it has nothing to do with
window updates. can any one help me please?
