[vip_students] Re: Zoom Text Correction

The zoomtext is magnification and speech but not as much speech support as
Supernova which has the lunar magnification and the hal speech combined.
Zoomtext works very well in combination with Jaws. In that case, one would
opt for the Zoomtext without the speech which would be a little cheaper. Some
partially sighted people require the magnification rather than the speech but
the Zoomtext with the speech gives some backup which may well meet people's
needs. As for myself, I have Zoomtext and Jaws and Supernova. Supernova will
not run on the same computer with Zoomtext and Jaws so it is a matter of having
them on seperate computers. I always fall back to Supernova, guess that is
because I started off with that rather than Zoomtext and Jaws.

Interesting that ZoomText is also a screenreader as well of course as being a
magnifier!

  I wonder if there's a ZoomText llist?

(Sca) you could of course ask on that UK list that you're on.

let's not be mixing up ZoomText - the referenced product in this
    thread,
made by AI Squared, with Supernova, made by Dolphin.

        Hi Paul,

It most likely was my internet connection at the time but I
    found
    that
        youtube recording patchy indeed!

Anyone want to Google then you can read up on it there too!

Wonder if anyone on the list has actually tried the device
    and if so
    would
be great to hear your feeddback!

It certainly sounds like the type of scanner that would
    interest me!

        Thanks,

        Tony

               Hi All,

Here is a good Youtube presentation of the Intel
    Reader and
    its
accessibility features. Take a good listen to it and
