[vip_students] Re: Word Attachment with Columns

If you don't use Word Tony what do you use? Plain Text is just the raw text without any format whatsoever. An example would be if I wanted to translate a document into Braille plain text would be just the job though that said people willbe quick to correct me and say that documents can be translated into Braille from Word and that is true too. RTF which is Rich Text Format does keep the format but it has the advantage that it can be opned in other packages other than MS Word.

Hi Flor

That is good advice also!

I get a little confused re RFT and plain text!

Do you know what is the difference?

Don't use wordd much as no doubt you can glean!

Trust that you are anyway well fed and founded after tuning in to the telly tonight on Skib's two great hungers!

Thanks

There's also the option of text file .txt (which is plain text). (Rich text file is RTF.) You tab to the Save As Type combo box, and select what you
want from there. You may then get a warning about some formatting
information being lost, but go ahead and confirm.

Hi Tony
When you go to File and Save As you can choose to Save As rich test file.

Hi all

Am just having a little difficulty with an attachment I have in Wordd!

Now when I open same I'm presented with a list of columns, numbers and
all that but really can't get in to the body of the doc.

Any tips would be appreciated.

I can forward the doc if necessary.

It's not confidential but info from our residents's association which I
would like to be able to read independently!

Thanks

Tony
