[vip_students] Windows7:Configuring windows updates!

In order for your windows system to maintain good order You must enable
Windows Update and configure it to allow retrieval of drivers and driver
updates by completing the following steps:
1. Open the start menu using the windows key, second key out from left side
of spacebar" then in the search edit box, type in something like the
following;
Windows Update
2. Use the arrow keys to arrow up or down through the list of results,
usually the first result will be the one you want, "Windows Update", press
enter key to open it up..
3. In Windows Update, click the "Change settings" by pressing the tab key
approximately seven times then on the change settings button, press the
spacebar to open it.
4. Now we need to tab key about five times till we are on the Important
Updates list combo box.
5. Here we use the arrow keys to select "Install updates automatically".
6. Now press the tab key just once and you will be on the combo box were we
set when we want the updating process to occur. Under "Install new updates"
use your arrow keys to select an install interval and time. If your computer
is turned off at the designated install time, Windows will install the
updates next time you turn on the computer.
7. To ensure you receive important updates, tab key over too and use
the spacebar to check the "Checkbox", select "Give me recommended
updates...."
8. To ensure anyone can install updates, Tab again to another "Checkbox"
and use the spacebar to check "Allow all users to install updates...."
9. Click OK then on the resulting screen use keys, "Alt + F4" to return to
the desktop.
